Earlier, on the subway, a little girl sat next to Miran and asked about the boo-boo on his nose. When Kieryn explained that he had fallen in the playground, the girl reached over and, in a gesture of sympathy, took Miran's hand. He turned to Kieryn and said with excitement, "She's holding my hand!"
