Checkup at the Pediatrician

Miran had his (long overdue) check-up today and got a clean bill of health. He is growing well and has no issues to speak of -- we are blessed, indeed. His latest stats:

37 inches tall -- above the 97th percentile for his age
30 lbs., 3 oz. -- 80th percentile for his age

Somehow the last post about preschools for Miran got deleted -- K must have pressed something while he was trying to edit. Oh well, it was a short post and basically just said that we have applied to preschool for Miran and are now awaiting the official "result" -- optimistic about being accepted but aware that preschool admission (like everything else in Manhattan) is competitive. At any rate, it's exciting because we think Miran is so ready for school and for more interaction with other kids. We think he will love it.
